Os recursos tecnológicos estão presentes em muitas escolas, mas ainda encontra resistência por parte de alguns profissionais, contudo as pressões por mudanças são cada vez mais fortes.

Passei minha lua-de-mel em Porto Seguro, litoral sul da Bahia, num fim de ano, há longínquos 20 anos. Foram dez dias de muito sol e calor, comidas típicas e muita água de coco. Apesar da época, não havia presépios, árvores de Natal, festão, bolas, nem neve artificial. Parecia que estávamos em outro mês menos festivo. Não se ouvia o jingle bells pelas ruas e, nem nas pousadas, o Natal havia se imposto. À noite, os aparelhos de televisão não ficavam ancorados às novelas badaladas. Nesta época não havia internet nem celular. Mas o serviço de telefonia já estava estabelecido no país há várias décadas e , mesmo assim, demorei horas para fazer uma ligação de três minutos para minha mãe.
E o colega deve estar se perguntando o porquê dessas considerações se o tema em questão é outro. As lembranças desse período me vieram aos borbotões porque eu me lembro com muita clareza dos pensamentos que tive sobre nossa condição de brasileiro. Falo, então, fazendo uma alegoria de nosso Brasil, tão concentrado e antenado no Sul e Sudeste e tão árido, humilde e despojado Brasil adentro. E para falar dessas diferenças, nem precisamos ir muito longe...
Vivemos “Brasis” diferentes e a mídia e alguns setores do governo teimam em generalizar. Lousas digitais, internet, intranet, redes compartilhadas – tudo isso é extremamente engenhoso. Oferece possibilidades infinitas e podem produzir resultados fantásticos. Dinamizar os conteúdos, fomentar a curiosidade do aluno, estimular a criatividade, orientar a pesquisa realizada com tanta facilidade: elementos que contribuem na construção de saberes e na formação do cidadão; elementos indispensáveis no mundo atual, impregnado de tecnologia e globalizado.
Entretanto, o computador e os esforços para a inclusão digital não operam milagres. E o problema da educação pública no Brasil é estrutural. A instituição de ensino, as políticas educacionais e o próprio professor, foram corroídos por interesses outros, todos alheios à educação. A opção por tecnologias de ponta e a tentativa de aumentar o número de computadores nas escolas apenas reluz como ouro para encobrir problemas muito mais graves e que, não solucionados, poderão comprometer e até inviabilizar essa “marcha digital”.
Não consigo sonhar com computadores e lousas digitais quando em minha unidade existem turmas que passaram todo o ano letivo sem professor de disciplina da grade curricular. Não acredito na falsa afirmação que computadores serão levados às escolas e isso garantirá um ensino de melhor qualidade e que o aluno, por sua vez, estará mais apto a enfrentar os desafios do mundo atual. A julgar pelas conseqüências dessa manobra, aumenta, cada vez mais a distância entre os muito ricos e os muito pobres – com o agravante de se jogar um véu sobre a verdadeira situação do aluno de escola pública no Brasil: a informatização é desarticulada e eventual. Um engodo para a população que, carente de tudo, até mesmo de senso crítico, acredita que, se os computadores estão lá, o governo está fazendo a sua parte.
Sou lotada em uma unidade de grande porte, com turmas em todos os segmentos, inclusive educação especial e cozinha experimental e que atende a mais de 3 mil alunos. Em nossas dependências contamos com um laboratório de informática... com 10 computadores, com mais de 6 ou 7 anos de uso. É certo, ainda, que esse laboratório de informática não funciona adequadamente por falta de um O.T. (Orientador Tecnológico). Que inclusão digital é essa??
Utilizar a internet como ferramenta é uma perspectiva muito atraente. Mas só pode ser considerada se o professor arcar com todos os ônus dessa empreitada, pois a escola pública não possui estrutura para respaldá-lo. Essa sina que insistem em nos impingir, de salvadores da pátria, de heróis solitários, na verdade, não nos cabe. O professor precisa abandonar o fardo de missionário para ser visto como um profissional como outro qualquer. Precisamos de salários dignos, cursos de capacitação, atualização, informação. É necessário que o professor descubra o quanto é indispensável na sociedade – seja ela tecnologicamente desenvolvida ou não - para que se dê valor e exiba, com orgulho, esse valor a todos.

Sempre quis trabalhar com estas tecnologias em sala, mas estava no escuro...muitas vezes gostaria de trabalhar com slides e computador, mas não havia material suficiente. No sábado, recebi esta luz! O Tiago ensinou passarmos tudo para o DVD...a maioria das escolas possui DVD e tudo fica muito mais fácil.
A questão de colocar os exercícios on-line também foi maravilhosa, porque meus alunos têm acesso à internet, mas só entram em sites como: Orkut e msn...
E eles não podem dar a desculpa de que não têm computador em casa. A maioria acessa em lan-house com desculpa de fazer trabalhos escolares e não os fazem.
Como o dever será on-line, talvez eles tenham interesse.
Ah! Não poderia deixar de falar da discussão sobre langue x parole, há muitos professores presos à convenções de que falam e escrevem corretamente e isso na verdade não acontece! Muitos usos são próprios da rapidez da fala e mesmo que não queiramos, acabamos cometendo erros na fala e nem percebemos..a língua é dinâmica!

Tecnologia nas rede...Que beleza! Pena que não passa de um lindo sonho.Minha escola está com os laboratórios fechados por conta do atual governo.Treinaram profissionais durante um ano e no final do ano, com a troca de governo o atual governo fechou os laboratórios e os profissionais voltaram para as salas na base do cuspe e giz.E os alunos ficam sem a fomosa TECNOLOGIA.
Precisamos ter mais compromisso com a educação, ou melhor nossos governantes precisam acabar com essa mania de fazer coisas novas e sim investir nas iniciativas que já temos.
Eu me considero uma professora com pouca intimidade com a tecnologia, mas não sou resistente, por isso as nossas aulas nos dois últimos sábados me abriram um novo horizonte!
A reportagem fala da tecnologia nas salas de aulas, o que não me pareceu novidade, mas gostei da idéia de montar um blog onde os alunos possam publicar poemas ou reportagens utilizando a norma culta, pode ser uma maneira de fazê-los utilizarem a rede de forma lúdica com um objetivo sério, já que percebo em meus alunos uma certa resistência em navegar com seriedade, eles gostam de entrar no orkut, conversar no MSN, mas quando se fala em trabalhos na internet... parece que se falou em castigo.
Embora eu não seja muito afinada no uso da máquina, há alguns meses atrás aconselhei a uma excelente aluna, do 3º ano de Formação Geral, que faça vestibular para o cederj, já que ela quer continuar estudando e tem dois filhos muito pequenos, por isso aproveitei a reportagem, imprimi, e estou levando para ela.
Pretendo começar uma nova era nos meus recursos de ensino aprendizagem incluíndo a tecnologia como recurso para melhoria do meu desempenho como educadora e como meio de aprimorar o desenvolvimento dos meus alunos.
Continuo dizendo que eu não acredito que a máquina possa substituir o homem, mas sei que ela tem objetivo de nos ajudar, não pretendo perder o trem da história, estou entrando nele.
A reportagem nos mostra as duas faces do nosso país. Poucos com muito e muitos com pouco. Ou seja, conhecimento e privilégio permanecem nas mãos da elite. Mesmo o governo mandando computadores para as escolas públicas, não ameniza as desigualdades existentes no âmbito do sistema educacional.
Ressalto também, a questão da educação semi presencial. Vou iniciar um curso de aperfeiçoamento usando esta modalidade. Em alguns meses estarei mais informada se esta forma de estudo compensa.
A matéria da Revista Isto É - A Educação na rede - leva-nos a reflexionar sobre a Educação na era da informática. A escola é dos poucos ambientes onde se pode voltar ao passado sem nenhum choque de informações ou novas descobertas.
Ainda vemos escola e professores sem nenhum contato com a educação tecnológica. Na grande maioria das escolas brasileiras o professor ainda está no modelo "cuspe e giz". Fora da escola a maior parte dos alunos tem acesso a todo tipo de tecnologia.
Sem dúvida que com o computador na sala de aula as possibilidades multiplicam-se. Sabemos também da qualidade do ensino à distância e que outras formas da tecnologia educacional como softwares e outros recursos são necessários, principalmente no que concerne à pesquisa.
Mas baseados na nossa cotidianeidade questionamos - Quando? Como? E o professor? Além da baixa remuneração e pouca valorização quando é que ELE, o professor, poderá entrar nessa rede? Primeiro para aprender, depois para a sua formação continuada. O seu tempo é medido, contado e não é "on line".
Entendemos a necessidade da informatização mas nos preocupamos em como isto ainda está distante da nossa realidade.
O artigo "A educação na rede" nos permite refletir sobre a questão da tecnologia estar a serviço da educação e não para atrapalhar ou substituir o professor.
Os dados analisados mostram que o uso da internet para fins educacionais tornou-se realidade. A Abed informou que 1,3 milhões de alunos estudadaram pela internet em 2006.O programa "Sua escola a 2000 por hora", parceria com o Instituto Ayrton Senna, aponta que as escolas que fazem parte do programa apresentaram taxa de aprovação de 93,2 em 2006. Esses dados são extraordinários !
Não há dúvidas de que a tecnologia está a serviço da educação, da abertura da visão de mundo , de inúmeras oportunidades não só para o nosso aluno, mas também para o professor continuar ativo no processo educativo.
O que nos deixa inquietos, desconfortáveis, são as condições de trabalho que nos são oferecidas, o descasdo de tantos governos, a nossa remuneração defasada por dez anos de abandono, falta de professores e muito mais... E as as promessas dos candidatos a governador ? Só são realidade durante a campanha eleitoral. Depois, infelizmente são esquecidas.
Continuamos na sala de aula, tentando ser "mediadores", para que nossos alunos consigam "äprender" com qualidade, serem críticos, defenderem seus pontos de vista, terem um discurso coerente, dinâmico e participativo.
Oferecer apenas 1 sala de informática com 20 computadores, numa escola pública de 3 turnos com mais de 2000 alunos, onde os orientadores tecnológicos foram retirados e colocados em sala de aula, não vai permitir um acesso mais rápido a tão falada era digital que é tão necessäria à educação.
Percebe-se que de fato a internet tem facilitado muito a vida das pessoas, seja em não ter que ir ao banco, em não precisar esperar dias / semanas para receber uma carta ou até mesmo em cursar uma faculdade. Porém, não podemos deixar de perceber que esta realidade ainda está muito distante da escola pública, particularmente, a do Rio de Janeiro. É difícil falar sobre tal tema quando na escola em que trabalho mal há um computador na sala dos professores, que foi doado pela diretora (comprado com recursos do próprio bolso), e que não tem acesso à internet, uma vez que a internet dessa escola ainda é dial-up, ou seja, discada. Toda vez que alguém deseja acessar à internet, é necessário verificar se a secretaria não está utilizando o telefone.
É bom que o governo esteja preocupado em acabar com o déficit de computadores no Brasil, mas também deve ser sua preocupação investir no corpo docente, remunerando-o melhor e capacitando-o de forma que ele tenha conhecimento sobre tal assunto, pois não podemos esperar que o professor seja um milagreiro já que na sua maioria muitos têm se desdobrado para ensinar bem os seus alunos.
Ao contrário do que a “sociedade” acredita “não é todo mundo que tem um micro e acessa à internet”, ainda existem muitas pessoas analfabetas digitais no Brasil.
Impossível negar, ou mesmo recusar-se a perceber a radical e acelerada mudança que a tecnologia vem impondo ao comportamento social em várias partes do mundo. E é certo que no âmbito da Educação já não são cabíveis determinadas práticas ou regras que conduziram as práticas de ensino até então. A escola precisa se renovar? Sim, para o bem de todos. No entanto, me pergunto: pode um país que ainda mata muitos dos seus filhos de fome e promove a criminalidade deixando ao abandono milhares de crianças falar em Educação Tecnológica? Globalização? De quê? Para quem?
Um país que ainda não sabe cuidar da educação básica e não respeita os profissionais dessa área não tem legitimidade, creio, para tratar desse assunto.
